I am a San Francisco native who has somehow found himself spending the past three years in the absurdly Midwestern state of Iowa, living the glorious life of a grad student. Now I get to live the life of a grad student...with a hatchling to take care of. Gulp.
I met the dear wife, a Cincinnati native, in college back East and she was kind enough not to dump me when I told her I was going to Iowa for graduate school.
But Iowa's not so bad. We have a great old house with a big vegetable garden and two strange cats. And I've been thinking chickens would make a nice addition. Something for the little one to chase, anyway.
Your mean other than grad school and obsessing over how the hell I am supposed to manage this whole "dad" thing?
